Podcast
On the My African Aesthetic Podcast, we interrogate African aesthetics, African design philosophy and African placemaking with African/black design professionals, African design enthusiasts/advocates, educators, creatives and storytellers living and practicing in Africa and the African diaspora. We talk about their work, design process, lived experiences and what the African aesthetic means to them both as individuals and as members of their communities. We chose the podcast format (thought put into audio) as one of our key interrogation tools as it resonates with the African way of knowledge transfer; an unfiltered, educative and inclusive way of storytelling.
